To generate a clock screen that looks like this:
- First you'll need to install Python and
Pygame - NB you'll need the correct Pygame download for the version of Python, which for Python 3.2 is
this.
- Then download - the Python file here.
The logo image file here. (Or use a logo of your choice - better if it's a transparent .png)
The "ON AIR" image file here.
The "MIC LIVE" image file here.
The "DOOR" image file here.
And put them all in the same folder.
- To get the ON AIR, MIC LIVE and DOOR indications working your computer will need a gamesport. If it doesn't have one built in you can add a card or plug in a USB one.
- Then you'll need to:
Short either pin 4 or pin 5 to pin 2 for 'ON AIR'
Short either pin 4 or pin 5 to pin 7 for 'MIC LIVE'
Short either pin 4 or pin 5 to pin 10 for 'DOOR'
Once you've got it working you can easily change the colours by editing the studio_clock.pyw file.
If you have trouble getting it to run then right-click on the file, select 'edit with Idle' and select Run - Run Module. The error messages shold be helpful.
